By accessing or using NoteWordy (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service. We reserve the right to update these terms at any time, and your continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of any changes.

2. Description of Service

NoteWordy is a Bible-integrated writing and note-taking platform that provides scripture lookup, translation comparison, interlinear Hebrew and Greek tools, word study features, and a distraction-free writing environment. The Service is available in both free and paid tiers.

3. Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

4. User Content

You retain ownership of all content you create using NoteWordy, including notes, pages, and any other written material. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you. We do not claim ownership over your content.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its related systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service
• Upload or transmit viruses, malware, or other harmful code
• Use the Service to infringe upon the intellectual property rights of others
• Resell, redistribute, or sublicense the Service without our written consent

6. Payments & Subscriptions

Paid features are available through Pro subscriptions billed monthly or annually. All fees are non-refundable except as required by law or as explicitly stated in our refund policy. We reserve the right to change pricing with reasonable notice. Your subscription will auto-renew unless cancelled before the end of the current billing period.

7. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its original content, features, and functionality, is owned by NoteWordy and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Scripture texts displayed within the Service are sourced from third-party providers and are subject to their respective copyright terms.

8. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. You may export your content before termination. We will make reasonable efforts to allow data export before account deletion.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, NoteWordy shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, or goodwill arising out of your use of the Service.
